Olga, I talk about the topic of health care in Poland the problem is big too. In my city, for example, there is a hospital, there are doctors, but you are more likely to be cured by a veterinarian than a doctor. It's better if you go to the doctor privately, because if it's a visit at the expense of the state then the doctor will help you if he makes a mistake. This isn't a joke. Anyway, I know many cases that doctors aren't afraid or ashamed to accept "tokens of gratitude". Many doctors in my city should have had disciplinary dismissal, malpractice and corruption court cases long ago. These are the consequences of the previous political system and communism in Poland.
There is the same problem in other Italy's regions too, as young Italian doctors and nurses go abroad (Qatar, UAE, Germany, Britain, etc.). In this context, Italy's government has doubled its military expeditures while health care is a big problem. Fon example, in Central Italy people have to wait almost eight months for an eye exam. But military equipments are still shipped abroad.
"O ti zemlja rodna,
zemlja bedna,
ki te milost božja,
meni v last je dala" (I. Trinko)
"O terra natia,
terra misera,
piccola,

RispondiEliminaBuona giornata.
